    The Lakers traded their No. 29 pick to the Knicks for $3 mil in cash. Didn't know where else to put it or if it's noteworthy. We need a draft/trade thread or something.

    I don't like Amare, but he's a great scorer. I've got to think that the Suns can do better. Memphis should offer the #3 and Darko (who's a bum, but has never played uptempo and it might suit him).

    Or the Suns should demand Anthony Randolph. At which point the Warriors should hastily hang up the phone.

    Wow... Amare would be boom or bust many places he went, but GS might be the ultimate example. He'd get as many minutes as he could handle in an up-tempo offense, but Nelly hasn't historically got much out of big guys (at least not for long).

    That would be a fascinating trade, and I think not a bad one from either side.

    Interesting... the Nets cutting salary, I guess, and the Magic prepping for life after Hedo?

    Unless the Magic would be willing to run out Rashard/Hedo/Vince, I think that they'd probably be more willing to let Turkoglu walk. Which wouldn't hurt the Blazers one bit, of course. :)

    I'm sure anyone on the Nets is available at the right price, but I don't think this deal, if it happened, makes him more available than before. In fact, it could well be a statement that they are building around Harris. They structured the offense around him and Carter last season, so they seem ready to make him the centerpiece.

    Good point. No way they can keep those three guys around. Looks like Hedo is on the market if the trade goes through. But will KP go after him? Ahh... this day is like Christmas!
