    Anyone else hear about what happened in Parkersburg, IA yesterday? Head football coach and AD Ed Thomas was shot by one of his former players, Mark Becker. There's a quote in this article by someone saying that this might be worse than last summer when the tornado destroyed the town. Regardless, this was some very sad news.

    On a sidenote, why is it that the only way Iowa can get in the national news is with a tragedy of some type. Last year we had the tornado in Parkersburg and then the flood, now this.

    I've seen a whole bunch. Star Trek, Watchmen, The Hangover, Defiance, amongst many others. I do frequently go to movies, probably seeing 20 or so in theaters this year.

    Why did the Bulls not take Dejuan Blair there? I'm ok with the pick because of the upside, but Blair, despite his lack of size, is going to be a beast on the boards in the NBA.

    And I'm shocked Jrue Holiday just now went.

    There's already rumblings of Rubio not coming to Minnesota, which is apparently why they drafted Flynn. If they were afraid of Rubio staying in Spain, why waste a pick on him?
