How do you guys think they will perform come playoff time? They will probably be playing Washington. It should be a fun series to watch. Also, dont look now but Cleveland is on a 9 game winning streak.

This is Lebrons First playoff series. It should be very fun to watch. The thing is, Lebron is the clutch shooter for Cleveland, but he's been known to choke.

They havnt had any impressive wins besides the Dallas win and the Miami win(without Shaq). But still 9 in a row is impresive. But it will end Saturday when they play the Nets.

I think they will beat Washington but won't go farther. Plus, does anyone know when Larry Hughes is coming back? With him they would have a shot of getting to the East finals.

No way they will beat them with or without Larry.

Cleveland's streak has been overshadowed by New Jersey's impressive streak. The NJ Cleveland game will be very entertaining. It's possible that Cleveland loses in the first round, because Lebron has never been to the playoffs. Can anyone say choke? Lebron is great, but you never know.Hughes would help, but chemestry would be an issue. Flip Murray has been excellent as of recent. Where will his minutes come? And whats to come of Sasha Pavolic?

Hughes did play tonight against Philadelphia, albeit very very limited minutes. Brown is slowly going to try to work him back into playing shape.

I'm not saying that NJ's isn't impressive, in fact, i did say it was very impressive. But Clevelands is impressive, nonetheless, even without Larry Hughes.

Haters. [IMG] Its LeBron's 1st playoff experience, and experience comes in damn handy in the playoffs. Besides, Cleveland does not defend well against quick, scoring guards. For example, AI had 38 against them tonight but fortunately Cleveland won by a large margin. They won by 33 but still could not keep AI contained. Arenas always burns them. And Haywood always finds a way to somehow contain Big Z. Flip is playing great, but his minutes will be cut down due to the return of Hughes. Jones and Marshall arent lighting it up, either. Hughes will be new to the way Cleveland will play in the post-season. He'll have to learn the plays quick, or Cleveland will not be able to be successfull in their offensive plays. I've heard many Cavs fans state that they'd rather play New Jersey than Washington. They just dont match up well against us, its a fact. If you've been watching Cavs-Wiz games, you would see why. We also lead the season series, 2-1. Everyone may think I'm totally biased or that Cleveland will sweep Washington because of the LeBron and Hughes combo, but dont underestimated our core of offense, Arenas-Jamison-Butler. Along with Daniels, Haywood, Jeffries and Thomas who provide additional scoring, rebounding, and assisting (mainly Daniels).

Defense is his specialty. Wait till he is 100%.

IMO Cleveland will make the second round and whoever they play (most likely Detroit) will beat them in 5 to 6 games. As stated before they don't have the experence and I don't see them having the depth they need without a healthy Larry Hughes to start.

And I'm not bashing him here: But - people overrate his defense greatly. Sure, he lead the league in steals last year with nearly 3 a game, but the way he played defense is just by anticipating the pass by running through the passing lanes. Dude just played the passing lanes. He's not a lock-down type of defender, not the type Ron Artest is, because thats what I think real defense is. That's why he simply wasnt a major candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.

It will be a 7 game series, if not a 6 game. I dont see a sweep or 5 game series. I have the Cavs since they have homecourt MOST likely..But we all know Lebron and Cavs will get "massacred" by DEEEEEEtroit.

Hughes isn't a Bruce Bowen or a Ron Artest type of guy, but he will get the job done. Thats what they need, slow down the quick guards. He is more of a Andre Iguodala-type defender.

Heading into last years 2nd round matchup between the Heat and Wizard, I was left the impression that Hughes was going to limit Wade to less than 20 ppg. Boy was I wrong about that. It actually went the other way around, with Wade limiting Hughes to a small amount of scoring.Hes a very aggressive defender, that pretty much sums up his game.

Hughes is good on offense, maybe he had an off series, but he's not bad on offense. He is a great overall player.
