Yes, Nate doesn't play 1's and 2's b/c we have only one PG on the roster. And yes, Sergio was brutal. And no, I'm not saying he should've played more that 10mpg. What I am saying is that it was effing asinine (and I'd tell Nate to his face) to play Sergio off the ball the few minutes he was in b/c Jack wanted to prove he was a "pure point". Let's see....a guy's shooting 30% and his only skill is high assist ratio....let's make him a spot-up shooter! Please. It's warranted. And that's only one example.
The only thing that matters to me is wins and seeing the teams best players flourish, check and check. Hell, I'm kind of a Bayless fan but I fully supported Nate sitting his ass on the bench because he wasn't ready. In any case I'm so sick and fucking tired of arguing about Sergio -- it's time to move on.
Vaya con Dios, Sergio. You'll be missed. My sadness for losing Sergio is counterbalanced by my schadenfreude toward MARIS61, who probably is moving to Beautiful Northern California to be closer to his man crush.
