I gotta admit I started laughing when I heard the pick. Board meltdown time. Something isn't what its cracked up to be. Minny takes three PGs? We deal Sergio and get virtually nothing in return? Pritch said that Nate would probably kill him if he took another rookie. Perhaps their list of "desirable" draft picks was gone by the time they got there. Perhaps there are still trades to come? There are still plenty of rumors floating around about Pdx and trades and in some ways, I think this pick adds fuel to those fires. I think KP's a long way from being done whether trades now or playing in the free agent pool later/trades later. I don't think the Blazers are content to basically stay put with what they have seeing how several other teams look like they have made definite improvements. Should be interesting. Gramps...

I never said I didn't like Claver. I started threads on him earlier this year and think he's a good pick to stash. What I'm mad about is there is a better player/prospect left on the board in Blair.
