oi oi oi! I like this pick, I wonder what this means for the summer league though. Who plays PG, him or Bayless?
Outstanding pick, and an instant upgrade over Sergio. Mills was much more impressive against the US Olympic team than Rubio, for whatever that is worth.
Hinrich. No "e". Sorry, it's been bugging me. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kirk_hinrich/ As far as that line-up at PG, i'd be up for that.
Jerryd now has the backup PG spot. I bet he's ready in the gym right now getting ready. I want to see him be a beast next season.
Let's relive Mills dropping 20 on Kidd, Williams, and Paul. "He's good. Man, he's fast. I read something that says he's faster than me. They're probably right. He can move." -- Chris Paul, USA point guard "I'm just glad my Duke team doesn't have to play Saint Mary's. He'll be an NBA guard." -- Mike Krzyewski, USA Head Coach
I'm not expecting to see the show Mills put on against team USA, but the kid has some jets and against other second unit guys he could be a nice player -- probably a helluva lot better than Taurean Green
This pick was the saving grace of the draft for me tonight. I like Claver, but not sending two 2nd rounders to Dallas when we could have had him at #24. I hated the Sergio trade and we could have likely gotten Pendergraph at #33 and Cunningham at #38.
Bayless has to play PG in Summer League, because we blew our chance for Hinrich and traded our backup PG. Otherwise Paddy Mills is our #2 if Jerryd turns out to be a SG in a PG body.
