Well the options now are much more limited then they were. Please choose the option you think is KP's most likely route. Also feel free to discuss our PF options (McDyess, Maxiell, Haslem, Bass) below and who you think is most likely the target. Remember, not who do you want who do you think we will get? Feel free to say who you want below.

They aren't targeting anybody. It seems pretty obvious by now.

So then you go with stand pat. My personal belief (hope) is a combo of Ramon Sessions and Bayless manning the point for the foreseeable future. One or the other of those two will stick long term. My consolation prize is Hinrich. Rubio sounds wonderful but seems unlikely.

Not Hinrich, that's for sure. He might end up being the last option we have but I don't think the Blazers, nor any other organization want to take him on. His value is low. I think the target is Ramon Sessions or Andre Miller in the free agent market. I'm sure Pritchard is busy today talking with some teams about their point guards like Steve Nash who is on the block. I would love if we could get Nash for scraps but I'm sure Phoenix would demand one of Bayless, Batum, or Fernandez in return with fillers.

With Phoenix rumored to be trading Amare to GS for #7 (Curry), I still think Nash is the option at PG. I really doubt McDyess will come here and I think that Pendergraph will probably be it.

Yeah that would be a mistake. I think I would rather have Hinrich then Nash just for the defense. Nash is a nice thought but I don't think he can live up to the reality. His defense is horrid and he has no prayer of staying in front of the faster guards = more Oden fouls. Sessions is very intriguing and at least has the physical tools to stay in front of the faster guards. He desperately needs to work on his 3 ball. I think a rotation of he and Bayless at the point is steady enough that we can have a growth year for everyone and have a relatively similar record. If either Bayless or Sessions fits like a glove then we have a real shot at WCF.

Andre Miller. Because we have heard nothing about him from KP or staff. And he is a piece we can add without losing any other pieces.

I doubt it. I think they are going to build something with the same run and gun system (Biedrins if fantastic for this) with Nash mentoring Curry on the fly.

I think I like Hinrich as option 1, Sessions as 2 and Miller as 3. If all else fails - Mike Bibby will probably be available for a not too expensive short-term contract and we could have a battle royal between him, Blake and JB for minutes.

Most likely is too depressing, so I voted with my heart. On which note, where's "Rondo by trade"?

I'd like to think that the addition of Brandon Jennings in Milwuakee reopens the Sessions to PDX discussions.

Quite honestly, I think Bibby is up there in the top 2 or 3, he should definitely be on the list.

My gut feeling tells me that they think they're gonna get a free agent steal on one of the aging pgs in Bibby, Miller or Kidd. If you look at the teams w/ caproom they either don't need a pg or need other stuff worse. My guess is they go after Kidd then Bibby (most similar to Bayless), then Miller, and hope to get them on a 2 or 3 year deal worth something just a little more than the MLE. Maintaining as much possible cap space will help our flexibility in either getting a backup PF or a starting SF via trade

Hell if I know. I voted for Sessions, but which PG is at the top of KP's board is a complete mystery.

Yes that was one pleasant draft day suprise. I also think you are right. If they were looking to replace Charlie V their draft would have been different. Looks like Sessions is available. Get'er done KP!

Oversight on my part. You're right although I'm not a Bibby fan, at least not in this stage in his career...

I think it is pretty obvious that Milwaukee cleared salary cap room for a reason. We don't have a lot of money to offer due to the Miles situation, so good luck with that.

They go over the Lux if they match us. They wanted to ensure they resigned one or the other. Looks like it was Charlie V. We would probably do a sign and trade with Outlaw and Blake out of Courtesy and to clear our roster.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see KP 'go to war' with Blake and Bayless next season..
