<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>By Mike Wellsmike.wells@indystar.comCHICAGO -- Indiana Pacers forward Peja Stojakovic said Tuesday that he'll probably opt out of the final year of his contract and become a free agent this summer. "I have the option to do it, so that's something I'm probably going to do," he said before the game at Chicago.Stojakovic, acquired from Sacramento for Ron Artest on Jan. 25, is scheduled to make $8.2 million next season. Pacers president Larry Bird said in January that the team wants to keep Stojakovic beyond this season."I've been after this kid for two years and I don't want him to be here for two weeks. . . . Hopefully he'll be in a Pacer uniform for a long time to come," Bird said during the news conference to introduce Stojakovic.Stojakovic is averaging 19.0 points and making 39 percent of his 3-pointers in 31 games with the Pacers.Stojakovic said he's interested in remaining with the Pacers."I said from the beginning that the Pacers are a great organization," he said. "(CEO) Donnie (Walsh) and Larry are great people. I believe this team has the potential."</div>I think he will be going to the Bulls. Theres been a lot of talk about it and there is a big Serbian population over there which Peja i know really likes.
I have a feeling he will stay with the Pacers. I guarantee Bird and Walsh will try their best to keep him.
Yeah they will try. And i dont think Bulls will waste alot of money on him. Being they have Noc and Deng. But they could use the shooting. And Dend/Noc can both pplay a lil Pf. Also the bulls want big men.Skiles will not have Peja start over Deng. Thats what i think.
Yeah, it doesn't make any sense to add Predrag Stojakovic when you have Luol Deng who is only 20 years old.
You have a future star in Luol Deng. And a solid, rough driver and good complimentary shooter like Nocioni. Why would the Bulls pay money to prevent their development.
Who could use him? I got my money on someone like Orlando getting him, since there going to be shopping this offseason.
I would be shocked if the pacers didnt keep him...though keep an eye out for the Lakers because Odom doesnt seem to be a good fit next to Kobe.
He will probably be with the Pacers next year. He says he likes the organization and Bird should give him a contract he can't say no.

MAYBE Miami?</div> He's 28 years old, he wants to get as big of a deal as possible. Miami can't give him the money he will want.

Odom is safe in LA. Don't see the Lakers going after PEja anwayys

He gets the offense going if the ball isn't immediately put in Kobe's hands. Trust me, unless we can get a big name in reutrn, Odom is staying put.

i think i read on espn that the bobcats had a lot of salary cap room and that they might be active or they might try to wait until after next season to make some big signings

All i know Bulls will not waste alot of money on him. Cause after next season Kirk is a freeagent you know they are gonna give him lots of money. And if peja wants to play with skiles as bad as he said he wanted to they he takes what we give him and becomes a 6man
