Just wondering if anyone else had taken the time to check rock's newest supergroup. I recently picked up their CD (mainly because I kept seeing advertisements for them, so I caved to see what all the freakin' hype was about) and I love it. The only bad song on the CD is Soap on a Rope, and it's not terrible, just not up to par with the rest of the album.

Sammy's voice sounds great for a guy pushing 60 and Satriani's guitar work is fantastic. Michael Anthony and Chad Smith also do a good job in their respective roles. If you get the chance, do check 'em out. The CD is only $9.99 at Best Buy and has been since the CD came out a couple weeks ago.

They're doing a concert here soon, been advertised on the radio a bunch.

Sammy is one of the most underrated singers ever, IMO. He doesn't have the greatest voice, but he uses it like an instrument.

I do, as a matter of fact. I own over 300 CDs and that count rises on a weekly basis.

I guess it's people like you that are the reason why the music industry is so much weaker than it was just a few years ago.
