    I think you're confusing Jerry Reinsdorf with Jerry Krause. The last I checked, Reinsdorf was the Chairman of the Bulls.

    Kirk hadn't been back from injury for long when the trade deadline came and went (something like fifteen games), so a swap of Blake and whatever other player to make salaries match definitely could have done more harm to our playoff chances than not. Now with the ability to do a lopsided trade after July 1st (assuming Chicago's goal is to dump some salary) and a full training camp to integrate him into the roster a trade for Hinrich makes a lot more sense. It may not be a straight Blake for Hinrich deal, but if KP wants him and the two sides can agree to terms I think there's a really strong possibility that Hinrich is at least A target -- I don't believe KP has narrowed his choices to just one guy this summer.

    If we don't get Hinrich I don't see anyway we don't pick up Blake's and Outlaw's options. Not really an assumption either as KP already said he would.
