    No. Blazersedge linked to a dallas news article that said portland was expected to make an offer to kidd along with hal the league.

    Twitter is just a tool to broadcast messages. Blazersedge is just grabbing any blazer news.

    That would be the best thing for Portland, don't you think Maxie?

    If we could somehow send both Webster and Blake to Philly for Miller, and then send Outlaw to Orlando for Hedo we would still have some cap room to sign someone like McDyess maybe

    How? Webster+Blake cancels out Miller. Outlaw is only 4 million. Hedo wants 10, so that eats 6 million in cap space. That leaves about 1.5 million. I don't think we can get McDyess with that.

    Hedo wants 50 for 5 years, not 10. 50 for 5 years starts at about 8.5 per year. Hedo at 8.5 - Outlaw at 4 = 4.5. Blake and Webster = a little over 9 mil per I believe. I have no idea what Miller is looking for, but I think 8 is a safe number. But even if it's 9 and it cancels it out that leaves us 3 million. Renouncing Freeland and Koponen give us another 1.6 million. So now we have 4.6 million.


    Hmm, maybe someone with a grasp on how the cap works can take it from here. At some point if something equals something you get your MLE back

    I really hope KP can get Hedo with a 4-year deal.

    Paying a 36 year old, declining player, $10m isn't a good idea.

    He wants 10 million a year. If the contract started at 8.5, we could just renounce Kop+Free and sign him without giving any assets. Then we can just do a S/T for Miller.

    That math makes sense. McDyess, Miller, and Hedo would be a solid summer. A VERY solid summer.
