I have no idea where he ends up, but I'm sure it will be a contending team. How about backing up Chauncey in Denver and leading 2nd unit?
Good idea, Denver's bench needs backup. Andersen and Kleiza aren't too reliable. Jr Smith is too streaky
There's nothing wrong being a 6th man off the bench. I'm sure he could play plenty of minutes with Billups too and close out games for Denver. Dahnty Jones is a token starter anyways. I just think the system suits Kidd's game and Denver would be a real threat with Kidd on the roster.
I think he either stays in Dallas for the money, or goes to Cleveland along with Shaq to play with Lebron (reminds me of 2004 Lakers). I don't see why he would go to New York, doesn't make sense. Miami doesn't make sense either. LA would be a good place to go if he wants a ring, he'd get the most playing time in LA as well, but he'll have to accept the vets minimum and that's not gonna happen.
If he wants to win a ring, he'll go elsewhere. Dallas isn't going to be getting a title any time soon.
I also think he'll stay in Dallas for the money but if I were Mark Cuban I'd shop him around in a S&T a little bit and see what turns up.
I think he stays in Dallas with Dirk and Cuban tries to pick up someone sles to make another run while Dallas still has Dirk. If Kidd isn't content with Dallas and wants to land with a playoff team, Blazers could be interested in making him an offer.
