I'd love to see Ron Ron out on the town.

I wonder if he's an Agency kind of guy or a Viewpoint kinda guy.

...I would not be opposed to his signing with the Blazers.

Call it my innner craps player, but I'd take the risk ... assuming no better options (Ariza, et al.) were there and willing to sign.

I don't think his 'tude and style would fit well in the locker room... How well do you think guys like Roy, Aldridge, Fernandez and Oden would deal with a guy like the Nutcase that is Ron Artest?

I like his talent but he jacked up a lot of stupid shots in our series against Houston. I'm on the fence with Ron.

I'd take the risk and I wouldn't even hesitate. He'd bring some needed fire to this group.

i don't want the blazers to go anywhere near artest.

i also don't want the rockets to bring him back.

he just isn't worth the trouble(on the court). if he learned how to play relatively smart basketball, he could help any team, but it seems to be a little late for that. people here who have hated guys like outlaw and jack for being dumb would have a lot of trouble handling artest.

I think Artest will end up with the Lakers. And that should be a fun ride...

I agree. He's who I want at SF for the next 3 years. Too many choir boys on our roster. We need some 'tude in the worst way. And?........Artest is good.

I have championed the "character" cause since the "jailblazers" were broken up, but to be successful, an NBA team must have some attitude. Ron Ron brings the 'tude AND the game. And, I do believe that he is wise enough to defer to Brandon. That's the question, really. Can Ron Ron fall in line on this squad?

KP has been talking about "toughness" a lot lately, so I would not be surprised if he actually guns for Ron Ron.

    I like it.

P.S. Then trade Blake/Outlaw for Hinrich. If these two things get done, our Championship window is WIDE FUCKING OPEN right now.

if artest wasn't wise enough to not jack up crazy 3s when he had a guy like yao inside, why would he be smart enough now to defer to roy?

Yeah, well, he wasn't the ONLY one on that team that chose NOT to defer to Yao. And who, please tell me, from that Rocket team would even THINK about challenging Ron Ron? Yao? No fucking way. Scola? Laughable. Adelman? Clearly not......that's why Adelman is Ron Ron's fave coach ever.

Ron Ron would have to deal with Roy and Sarge. I like it. And I do believe that Ron Ron is ready to WIN. He could win with us. I think he's worth the risk. At least for the time being. Let's say he leaves in 3 years and our experiment went wrong, our window is still wide open and Batum is ready to slide right in and take Ron's place.

Landing Ron opens the window now.
