    They should just demote Memphis to the NBDL. Since they are the Lakers farm team obviously.

    There is a decent chance Webster won't ever play again. I don't think Portland can make plans that involve Webster being a contributing factor.

    Memphis scaring us off could be a good thing.. I like Hedo and we need a scorer.. I just didnt realize how low is shooting percentages were. I think we'd be ok with a 16 ppg scorer though especially with a PG like Hinrich.

    Exactly. We don't need to match any offer from Memphis. Playing in Portland > Playing in Memphis. Hedo should be compensated more to piss away his playing days in Memphis.

    I think one could point to Dwight Howard reportedly pleading with him last night at a WNBA game (according to espn this morning) to not leave because of his importance to the team. Dwight and KP both see his value. If nothing else he will be able to get the ball down low to both LaMarcus and Greg, and will be bale to take some scoring pressure off of Roy.
