Matt Hughes vs. Mike Swick likely for UFC 103. Cain Velasquez vs. Shane Carwin on the same card is rumoured.
Fuck! I wanted Carwin and Cain on 104! I would def. go to that @ STAPLES. BJ Penn has his weight down to 166 so far.
UFC 101 promo... nicely done
Matt-ooh's supposedly doesn't want to get his head kicked in by Mike Swick at UFC 103, so they are looking at Swick/Kampmann instead.
Swick/ Kampmann is gonna be sick. After Alves, Swick is probably next closest to a title shot at 170 if he can beat Kampmann.
It's strange that arguably four divisions are ruled by guys significantly better than everyone else. Heavyweight is the most competitive.
I think Brock's size is too big to defeat unless he gets caught in a sub again. It is just such a huge advantage. Is Carwin's wrestling on par? That is the matchup I want.
Won't happen. They won't move their NYE card from Vegas. EDIT: Sorry, just read an article about it. I was wrong. I still can't see them moving their NYE card. Could they hold two PPV's that month? Maybe they'll be nice and give us Rampage/Rashad for free!
I will so be at STAPLES for that event. I want to see the winner of that face the winner of Couture/Nog and the losers face each other. The winner of the winning fight get a shot at title.
JDS is injured and won't be able to go for UFC 102. Expect McCully vs. Russow and Hague vs. Duffee instead.
UFC Fight Night 19 will be headlined by Nick Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard and Roger Huerta vs. Gray Maynard.
Ok, getting a little silly, but Wikipedia is claiming that Filipovic hasn't signed with Dream and may fight JDS at UFC 103. O rly?
