    5 for $55.

Ironically, that's basically same deal that Bulls offered. And apparently could have signed him to at the very end of the last off-season.

Boy, lots of stories were written about how Ben left millions and millons of dollars on the table and would never be seen again. Doesn't seem to be the case.

They offered 5/50 two years ago and then 6/55 last year.

Same amount, but for an extra year of service.

To all those who said Ben would be settling for the MLE... I think we can pretty conclusively say you were wrong now.

n other words, Ben just agreed to a contract that pays him exactly the same amount as Kirk Hinrich this year.

He left Bulls fans with some great memories. The performances in the Celtics series were epic.

I like Gordon. I think he'll be awesome in Detroit.

Is Rip on his way out?

Possibly, but the Pistons recently signed him to an extension. Depending on the coach Detroit could feature a backcourt of Gordon-Rip with Tayshaun Prince playing point-forward.

I wonder where this leaves Rodney Stuckey?

this is a lot of money for a guy who's going to come off the bench. he's behind rip, prince and maybe stuckey in the depth charts. and i dont think gordan is that good of a ball hander to be delegated the responsibilities of a primary ball handler at the end of games.

Behind Stuckey !? Are you crazy?

I guarantee he starts for them.

Shape's idea actually makes sense. Have Prince be the point-forward. Could they now go after Odom? Maybe they'll have Odom be a point forward.

He's the man. While ESPN's assclowns throw out terrible rumors hes breaking every legit story.

Wonder who gets Rip now. Would LB want him back?

Yeah, it seems like Woj has been the first to break every legit story. I've got major respect for him, he doesn't make up bullshit rumors it seems.

ESPN has to be shitting themselves being beat so many times.

Woj is on fire this offseason. Yahoo did hire a lot of beat writers away from the struggling newspaper companies. They obviously have a better group of "insiders" than ESPN.

After Bucher major fuck up and ESPN not canning his ass, I don't pay any attention to them when it comes to their rumors.

Now maybe the Bulls can steal Wallace from Detroit?

Bucher has to be the worst. When he says something I literally know its not true. Stein seems like the only one with any semblance of dignity/competence but he never breaks stories and gets little air time because he won't make up bogus crap.
