    Hmmm.

The Blazers say they wanna get Bayless as much time as they can running the team, but then bring in Jeter as well as their own draft pick Mills?

It's not like Bayless wasn't the SL MVP last year. I'm sure he'll get the most playing time.

Playing time isn't my concern, it's where he plays. He really should be playing the entire summer league as the PG.

Not a bad summer team roster a couple guys I could see making the team. Bobby Jones has had stints with Denver and Philly and is a lockdown defender, but doesn't provide much on the offensive end. Gardner got a little burn in the playoffs with Atlanta and has become a lot better outside shooter since his Missouri days and is a great athlete. Freije is a deadly shooter and had a cup of coffee with New Orleans.

However, I'm not sure if this is the best team to play summer ball for. Not really any roster space available.

Does anyone outside of Bayless, Cunningham, Mills, Pendergraph have a shot of making the regular season team? I don't really know any of these other guys.

So Mills and Jeter will never play? Because there is no reason to sit Bayless either.

You think the Blazers are going to give minutes to guys that might not make the team over Bayless?

This is whole SL is to let Jerryd run the point and see where he is at.

I will be furious if Mills isn't given much court time at summer league.

I'm fine with Mills getting time at the 2. If he turns out to be anything in the NBA it will be a scorer off the bench, or just a scorer in general.

I'm OK with Mills spending most of his time at summer league at the 2.

I agree, giving Bayless time at the point is far more important.

I want Mills to get all of the remaining time at PG though; not Pooh Jeter.

David Padgett...I do like this game, although probably just too injury-prone and not athletic enough to hack it in the league. Love good passing big-men though.
