He is averaging 24/6/4. Last year before he came, nets were well under .500 and a lottery team. After he arrived, he was 2nd best SG of 2nd half of season averaging 27PPG, and led Nets to playoff stomp. While I agree he isn't as good as Pierce, he is definately close.

And if you add talent, you're team is going to get better. That's a given.

When he got there, Kidd just got back, and wasn't great throughout season. RJ went down right after VC arrived. That setup VC's amazing 2nd half performance, and was the reason Nets made playoffs. Nets before VC arrived: 7-16Nets after VC arrived (with no RJ and reliable 2nd option): 35-24

I think RJ would beg to differ that they had no scorers until Vince showed up. Ya ofcourse they won more games with Carter, he is a huge talent. He is just not as good or better than Pierce. Use your brain not your heart. Pierce is better than Carter, not by a whole lot, but it is still clear.

Record does not say everything....when you are comparing the supporting cast that Paul has to the supporting cast of Vince its not even close. The Nets are better than the Celtics at EVERY position besides Paul......and i dont see how you can say that vince is better than Paul the way that he has been playing this year......just look at his 2nd half of this season...... Can you honestly argue against that?
