Massive deal for the Cavs, even if essentially it amounts to a one-year rental. Shaq's also a $20m expiring deal, which means the Cavs retain the possibility of acquiring another star (Bosh?) next offseason. It's gonna be interesting to see, but I think Shaq should fit in well with the Cavs since they don't have a high-octane offense. What's also interesting is that they are talking about sliding LeBron to the four for long stretches of play. With (perhaps) LeBron at the top of the key as the 4 man with Shaq down low and shooters spotting up around the perimeter, there doesn't appear to be an obvious solution for the opposition. You can even take Shaq out and put in Z who will stretch the floor even more. Regardless, it should be awesome to watch and hopefully this is the next step towards that ring.
