    Artest is not a PF, so he won't be replacing Odom if you lose him. He's a SF/SG kind of guy.

    He's going to be huge for the Lakers on defense.

    Im not as hyped about this as everyone else..........:dunno:

    IMO, Ariza just fit into this team so well and Ron Ron has the potential to really screw things up.
    I do understand why Mitch is going in this direction, He had to. After Ariza or his agent, whoever got all crazy and big headed, started talkin crazy about money, he couldnt afford to let him get away and not have a replacement. (run on sentence like a mother right there I know...) This decision might have to grow on me.

    Definately bring Lamar back.

    I just think Mitch realized that Trevor is solid, but a lot of SFs would look good here and Ron was a bargain at what we got him. Like you said we couldn't afford to just wait around for Trev. Ron has all the potential in the world on defense, and is a better shooter from the arc.

    Yeah it's all setting in. I'm just a big fan of Ariza, as a player and a person. But, he is kind of the enemy now and a large majority of that is his fault. Artest just scares me. In my eyes, he could really hurt us. But there also is the potential for some great things. He and Kobe are going to get all over guys.
