Re: OT: Grizzlies get Z-bo I had the same thought merely by reading that Memphis was adding Zach. If they sign AI as well I would consider that disproportionate punishment for the crime. Mind you I think the D. Miles debacle was one of the lamest periods in recent Blazers history and I can't describe the rage I feel when I consider that we could get Sessions and Hedo outright by paying. Well that's when the sin seems unforgivable. Zach and AI though? Wow, seems almost like mystical punishment of a greek god sort. Release the KRACKEN!
I really hope Chris Wallace stays as Memphis' GM. It continues to make great comedy in how not to run a team. He's now desperate and in the mode of trying to sell tickets with draws like AI, rather than winning.. even though if you win, you sell tickets. I'd watch Memphis though a little more, just to see the train wreck it would be.
I want our Blazers team to go into Memphis and dismantle them on their home floor to the tune of an NBA record in point differential. I believe the record is 63 points. I want to blow them out by 70! And I want them to continue to be blown out every time we play them so that they never forget that you never mess with another teams cap. Getting Z-bo will make it easier to blow them out.
