    Anyone see Artest on Sports Center a few minutes ago? I was on the edge of my chair listening to him just waiting for him to say something off the wall lol. Kobe needs to ask him if he still thinks B. Roy and that guy from Queens that went to jail are better than him lol.

    im so looking foward to next season! we just got a whole lot tougher inside with ron on the team. we now really need shannon back, he is going to be our energy guy now that ariza bitched out. Kobe is going to be really happy aout this, along with lamar. we got ron for a very good price too so thats good.

    so, our defense is going to be alot tougher now, ron can gaurd the best or second best scorer, same with kobe. we will have lamar, pau and bynum to gaurd the big guys, which they proved they can do in the orlando finals, and we add a few more points to our total as artest will aerage more points than ariza did.

    it is such a good feeling that one of the constant rumours about the lakers actually came true! lol.

    Hahaha, I love it. We're already being picked as the title favorites next year, and it looks like a lot of fans from the other contenders, based on the posts from LG, are throwing in the towel.

    I also love reading some of the posts in the Blazer forum where some of them are trying to trick themselves in to thinking that the Lakers are getting the worse end of the Ariza/Artest swap.

    That's another nice thing about the Artest signing. We have the enforcer we've been lacking for a while.

    I just hope he's on his best behavior though and doesn't end up being too much of a headache.

    It's an excellent signing by the Lakers.

    1. It gives more incentive for Odom to stay with the Lakers, on top of being the best team out there.

    2. After Odom is re-signed for less, if Artest for some reason, creates big chemistry problems, 6 mill per year, for 3 years is a very reasonable contract, and plenty of teams would take talent like that for that price.
