    i just had a thought, this gives people another reason to hate on the lakers, which kobe feeds on really well, obviously. this is a great article. i dont know whether or not this will force other contenders to make any counter moves, like say when we got pau the west went crazy.

    Kobe's always been regarded as the most popular american athlete in China, so it makes sense for him to move to be sort of an ambassador since he has alot of influence there.

    hahaha! yeah, the Pau trade pretty much started all these all-star caliber players being traded. It's very possible that had we not gone for Pau, Shaq, Kidd, RJ, VC and the rest of the gang could still be in their teams before the trade.

    I don't think RJ or VC would still be in Jersey. They were looking more to cut payroll when they traded those guys, not necessarily to get better. And the only reason Orlando went for VC is because Hedo opted out and they couldn't iron out a contract soon enough.
