Andre Miller an option again now that Hedo is here?

I think this guy broke the Artest to LA story so it could be credible.

That would make me feel much better about the summer, if we were able to ship Blake and Outlaw, say, for Miller...

Seriously not sure what would happen to me if this happened. I might streak through the streets and be found laying in someone's yard with a sickening smile on my face.

    I'd like that a lot.

Ric Bucher reported a few days back that this was Portland's plan.

Much like Turkoglu, I don't think of either player as a 'sexy' get...like Vince Carter would be. But they're both solid players that can definitely help a team win.

Out: Outlaw, Blake, Rodriguez - 5700 minutes, 12.1 win shares.

In: Turkoglu, Miller - 5800 minutes, 16 win shares.

So...if both Miller and Turkoglu have similar seasons, we'd be projected to win 58 games with no improvement from any other player. We could be pushing 60 wins if anyone improves even a little bit.

Like Hedo, not a fan of Miller. Better options out there. With Rudy reportedly not happy here, and with us knowing that he most likely isn't going to be here long term as a backup, I think it adds him to potential trade bait to get a better (younger) PG then Miller. I think with Rudy available, we can make a push for Harris.

Unlike Turk. Not a Miller fan.
With Turk I would rather have Blake.
However there are other options better than Blake, but Miller IMO is not one of them.

I'm a Miller fan but not sure now with Hedo that we need Miller. I can live with Blake/Bayless and Rudy getting some minutes at the end of game at the pg. If we broiught in Miller I can't see Rudy getting many minutes at the end of game with Roy, Hedo and Miller. I also think with Hedo we need a good shooting PG if possible. I do think our best bet for another player is trading Outlaw for a good backup banger PF. I still would like to upgrade our PG but Harris would be my first choice and I doubt we could trade for him. Even after saying all this I wouldn't be all that upset getting Miller with Hedo. I'm not sure it is a good fit but they both are good upgrades over what we had last year at the PG/SF.

Andre Miller is redundant now that we've reached an agreement with Hedo. We will now have two playmakers on the floor, and what we really need from our point guard position is someone who can keep the floor spread and benefit from Brandon and Hedo's passing off the dribble. I still like the idea of getting Hinrich for Blake and Outlaw. Improves us on defense and gives us a nice option on offense with Hinrich's perimeter shooting.

Agreed. We don't need Miller for this team with his biggest strength being that he needs to ball to set others up. I'd be all for Hinrich, but Blake still is a serviceable option for this team.

    +1

Blake should also be improved with his shoulder back to 100%.
