4-team trade: Lee[NY] & Blake[PDX] & Cardinal[Minny] to Utah; Outlaw[PDX] & Millsap[UT] to New York; Bayless[PDX] & Boozer[UT] to Minny Flynn[Minny], Nate R.[NY] & AK47[UT] to Portland Works at realgm's tradechecker, but does not take into consideration Lee & Nate as free-agents and their future salaries! Similarly, Flynn's rights are not figured into this mix. We need Tom Penn! Nate R./Flynn/Mills Roy/Rudy Turk/Batum/Webster LMA/AK47/Pendergraph Oden/Pryz
with rubio staying in spain theres no way that they are letting go of flynn and theres no way i want that fuck AK 47 on my team i hate that guy
Now that the key f/a's transactions are about done - the rest may require creativity on the part of several teams. We've seen it happen in the past. And I have confidence (did have) that KP/Tom Penn are fully capable. Utah needs to dump AK47. And Boozer is gone after a year. And Blake would fit will with Coach. And replacing Lee with Boozer fits pretty good. So, they have to take on one of Minny's bad contracts - Cardinal, to get this done. Portland needs help at PG. They also need some defense in the front court. Sign and trade for Nate Robinson and AK47? Better than miller/hinrich in my opinion. KP presumably really wanted Johnny Flynn (me too!) but Minny grabbed him at 6. So we have Roy/Rudy/Nate who can take turns at point while we develop Flynn and/or Mills and see which emerge as our PG of the future. AK47's large contract will expire soon and we may be able to look at future F/A's down the road...or even use him at the Trade deadline in 2010 if he's not working out. New York? right now they stand a chance of outright losing Lee and Nate. So getting Millsap and Outlaw - makes all kinds of sense. Minny: Add Boozer and Bayless in exchange for the rights to Flynn and Cardinal - DONE DEAL. Minny becomes somewhat respectible. 4-teams. Complicated as hell. WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN.
I don't understand why Utah would do this. They give up AK, Boozer AND Millsap for Lee, a pg they don't need and Cardinal?
You don't? Don't you know by now that the key to all proposed trades in this forum is to ass-rape other NBA teams for talent while giving up almost nothing on our end. The ultimate goal being to have two All-Stars at every position.
