    Hello darkness, my old friend
I would have preferred that Turk had accepted the offer, but I can't say I'm heart-broken that Portland didn't give a five year, $50 million deal to a non-impact player. Pritchard was right to take a shot at adding Turkoglu, but as it was, I was on the fence about his acquisition, leaning toward favouring it.

Hopefully, Pritchard can explore using the cap space creatively in trade.

A bit upsetting to me, but we will see what comes out of this.

I really think this is a good thing We just need a good backup PF now and we will be fine.

Well, I'm sure there was a plan B. Who can we hope for? Sessions or Odom would be near the top of mine.

I was agin him, then I talked myself into him. Goddamnit, I can talk myself out of him again!

Now Toronto is bidding by themselves... I can only assume they will try and lowball him, right?

I hope KP goes after J Chill now. Maybe in a S&T for Outlaw. Then go after Mcdyess, Powe or Bass to backup PF.

If not Millsap, how about 2 of Lee, Miller, M. Williams, and Childress?

    Or trade for Josh Smith?

I would rather have Sessions or Odom than Turkoglu. Sessions is probably unavailable, being an RFA that Milwaukee seems intent on keeping. I hope Pritchard is considering Odom.

Why the Fuck would we want Gordon? And to a lesser extent why the fuck would we want Ariza when we have Batum. Big Fucking deal.

Ariza, I'm not hot on at all, but I would have liked Gordon.

i fail to see how odom helps the blazers. he's a good player, but he's by far at his most effective playing the pf position. the blazers already have aldridge there meaning that odom would end up seeing most of his minutes where he isn't best utilized.

Unless they want to renounce 3 - 4 players and end up rebuilding next summer after Bosh leaves with a 31-year old Hedo locked in for 4 more years and about $50 million.

I am simply baffled why Toronto would even want him, at any cost. Are they somehow delusional enough to think that Hedo takes them from a 33-win team to a contender? And what about next summer, after Bosh leaves? Adding Hedo isn't a big enough signing to convince Bosh to stay. Their roster is horrible. They should be shopping for three or four bargain priced role players, not one very expensive one. They are in a totally different place than Portland, but don't seem to realize it. Hedo to Toronto fucks two teams - Portland and Toronto.

I guess it is time for the lopsided trade approach.

Well, if Hedo went to Toronto, at least Marion would be freed up.

Rumors from the Realgm Raps board suggest he's getting a 5 year/ $56 million offer from Toronto.

I think if you offered me 4 million more, I might jump as well.
