Today was all part of the plan because KP is really targeting a PG that he knew would only come if he somehow got Hedo to Toronto. This PG is Canadian and he simply wanted a Turkish born player to be on an NBA team in his home country. Now that this situation has been resolved, said Canadian PG will be joining the Blazers in the near future.
Big A-Team fan Today was all part of the plan because KP wanted Toronto to outbid him and do a sign and trade with Orlando to make both teams stronger. He knew letting RLEC go away for nothing would hel weaken the team. Letting Ariza, Hedo, Shaq, Richard Jefferson, VC and Artest all strengthen our competition would help ensure a high lottery pick in a much stronger draft. KP did the right thing making the playoffs last year in a weak draft year. The guy is brilliant.

KP will now make a blockbuster deal with Houston: $7 Mil in cap space +Joel + Blake + Outlaw is just enough to snag McGrady's $23 Mil expiring deal, and allow him to claim that the team will be players in the great FA class of 2010.
