Kobe is incapable of playing like Steve Nash so the worst thing to do is try to imitate it. I agree he is doing the best for the team he has now but if he actually had teammates that can make shots will they get enough touches to be at their best?

Kobe had the ego in the 3 peat, don't tell me he was innocent back then. He knew that he had teamates who could step up and hit shots. Kobe last season had trust in his teamates and in return they did nothing. Kobe gave luke walton an easy shot in the clutch and in return walton passes the ball back to him. Kobe cannot play like steve nash, he has to score 35ppg and somehow play defense. Nash cannot do either [2nd one is laughable],

A team built around Kobe I mean. Shaq obviously makes things easier on the other players. (including Kobe)

The point I'm making is it is hard to build a team around a guard. Even though Kobe was the leading scorer on the Lakers it was Shaq that the team was built around and Kobe was benefitting just as much as everyone else. Kobe without a big man is a different story though and I find it hard for the offense to win that way. Even if the lakers added some good shooters I doubt it would work.

Shaq obviously made the job easier for kobe but kobe is having a career year without Shaq. The only reason why he's percentage is down from the 3 peat is because he's shot selection has changed. He's still shooting 45% whilst taking some ridiculous shots. That's darn good.
