That's just sad. I read the article, and there was nothing in it to cause the team to get their panties in a twist. I hope the don't do something really classless, like try to claim that they never offered Hedo a deal, were never seriously interested in him, blah-blah-blah.

Ben from Blazersedge just got a message the blazers tech guy saying there was a CMS glitch and that Barrett's blog should be back to normal in a bit.

Man, I'm never going to get the five minutes back that I spent making my nifty Turkey Glue avatar.

    Back to the drawing board.

Fuck me. David Aldridge says Portland offered Hedo a $57 million contract.

How the fuck is that even possible? We didn't have that much room.

Well it's tough to know how much it is until the salary cap is set, right?

I wonder if we were going to renounce Koponen and Freeland...

I'm a bit happier that Hedo passed with these kinds of numbers emerging. As soon as we sign another player that's about as good as Hedo I'll be entirely over it.

Maybe they had a deal in place to send someone out for a TPE? That would clear more thanenough space to do that.

We are sitting at about 7.5. Simply renouncing Freeland and Koponen would get us close to that number

Geezus, Hedo's got a good agent.

Right now, I kind of feel like throwing just about everything at Caron Butler. :/

Who knows what to believe until Hedo himself explains why this went down the way it did. According to Ric Bucher, it wasn't about money. Portland just wasn't "cosmopolitan" enough for Hedo and his wife. Ouch.

If this is true - I'm glad we didn't sign a candyass who wants to play in a "cosmopolitan" town.

Wow hearing that he got 12 million a year. Grats to him, sorry to Toronto, and am glad it wasn't us. He was a good fit at 50/52 million, not at 60.

karma will have a funny way of paying back Hedo.

*Hard to pin this one on KP, but I'm sure people will.
