I have no idea. I'm so confused right now, that I just want to see how it plays out. I just don't know enough about anything to venture predictions right now. I don't think many of the writers out there right now do either.
Only teams over the cap have MLE. Since you guys are under, you don't have it. But apparently it's gonna be a sign and trade with Orlando. Hedo for Shawn Marion? At least that's what I heard from Alex Kennedy...
no way. why would the magic go 12 million over the luxury tax threshold for shawn marion when they could get sheed for the mle and he's a much more impactful player. and getting sheed would represent a savings of approx 12 million when u include the tax savings. plus, they need to go big to replace gortat at the very least.
hump for who? the more i think about it- we have virtually no untradeable pieces except colangelo's sacred trio
Who knows. That's what I heard. Alex is a crazy man. But if it does happen, you guys heard it from me first!
Dooling has come up before, on other boards, and kinda makes sense because they need a "moose" and have too much depth at the 1 in NJ and Pops will (seems) to be back. To be honest tho, that's all i got.
This is too confusing. So many questions: - Colangelo knows he failed at building a super-cheap bench last year, so how does he avoid the same mistake this time? - Aren't Hedo and Bargnani redundant offensively? - Can we actually count on DeRozan to start? - Can this team actually have Bargnani as a starting 5, without Marion's rebounding? - How much worse will our perimeter D be with Marion and Parker leaving? I can't wrap my head around any of those, especially the first one.
-bench= worst bench in raptor history -no hedo is a playmaker, bargnani is okur -derozen will start out of necessity and he needs to on this roster to add some much needed athleticism to offset the likes of caledron and hedo -the rebounding thing worries me as well -perimeter d will be terrible but i guess colangelo thinks we can out score the opposition but caledron needs to go in that scenario because he hinders the offense with his cautious approach
delfino makes close to 10 million euro in russia, tax free i might add but he gets paid when his russian mob boss chooses to make payroll. so i think delfino would be hesitant and rightfully so to sign for the vet min but u never know.
I am so torn on this signing. On the one hand Hedo is a good player and playmaker on the other hand hes not good enough to carry a team with a shitty ass bench, no one on our team is that good. The best way to win with Bosh was to build a balanced team, like our 06 team and now we blew our chance.
