Wizards apparently want to win now, so I'm guessing it's very unlikely. I'm wondering what kind of package it would take for us to get him? He's like a better Hedo.
He's simply not on the market. I think Prince and Gerald Wallace are also long shots, but their respective GMs might entertain offers at least.
That would be awesome and would put a silver lining on this whole thing, but I think it's very doubtful.
Rudy/Bayless/Batum/Outlaw/Blake/Webster... I'd honestly throw anything not named Oden, Aldridge, or Roy.
I dont see them doing this unless they find out Gilbert wont be back to start the year... Caron for Blake Outlaw Batum works in trade checker. It gives them the depth they need and Batum will be a replacement for Outlaw after the year is over.
+1 /end thread Detroit is not going to be a player in 2010, and they didn't obtain an SF (I don't count their draftee), so Prince is also likely unavailable. GW has been on my wish list since before the last deadline. However, they are not in a desperate cap situation (according to ESPN trade checker), and it's not like Outlaw is a "Larry Brown Strong On the Fundamentals Kind Of Guy".
I have no idea what will happen in the next two months of the off season. But I can tell you with 100% certainty that he will never make a trade of any consequence at the trade deadline. If he didn't do it this last year, he is never going to.
