They cant replace Brad. It would be like Nirvana trying to replace Cobain.

Bleh. This dude better be really fucking good. I couldn't even get in to LBDA a ton. Brad is what made Sublime relevant and borderline genius at times. Otherwise they're mostly just a drunkin' garage band.

I do listen to LBDA from time to time though. They aren't completely void of good songs.

If this version of "sublime" comes to P-town I'll probably check 'em out. I never got to see the real Sublime live and they're still one of my all time favorite bands.

Well said. I never got into LBDA either or LB Short Bus and whatever the hell else they've done since Bradley died. Other than Eric Wilson's good bass playing they've got nothing without Nowell.

But I'm sure Bud and Eric probably aren't doing so great financially. Its been 13 years since Bradley died and they haven't had that much success. It sucks for the new guy because there's basically no way that any fans are going to really like you. I'll consider seeing them in concert though since I never got to either.

I was lucky. I got to see Sublime play at Wow Hall in Eugene in '94 (I think, could have been '93 or '95).
