The other way to use the space is the "lopsided trade". We've talked about some permutations with the Bulls - Blake for Hinrich, Outlaw for Deng or both, but it's not clear the Bulls are really interested. Any other suggestions?

Here's one: the Knicks still have a couple of ugly contracts clogging up cap space for 2010: Eddie Curry (not on your nellie) and Jared Jeffries (not too terrible). I'd offer to trade Outlaw for Gallinari and Jeffries. But I'd have to know that Gallinari was healthy - back injuries are pretty dicey. Otherwise he's got guard skills in a 6'10" frame - and has been compared with... Hedo Turkoglu.

I am all for trading Outlaw for virtually anything actually. I think Gallinari is the kind of soft second string PF that we just lost in Frye the difference being his guard skills. Unless he really developed (both skills and frame) I'm not sure he's a good fit.

I wonder if we could pry Posey away from NO. Biggest payroll in the league, NO you bet they got some nasty contracts...

    Posey and Peja for Outlaw?
