Re: And with tonight's 40 point game Kobe breaks the franchise record be it in a loss and not that great percentage wise. He's now booked himself into getting into the hall of fame [not that he wasn't guarenteed before but now it's locked]
Re: And with tonight's 40 point game But they still loose. Doesn't it tell you something about your teammates when your best player gets 40 points, but you still loose the game.

It tells you he needs better teamates. To have that team in a 6th seed is amazing.Congrats to Kobe on breaking the record. Im sure before his career is over it will be shattered.
Re: And with tonight's 40 point game Congratulations to Kobe. The only record he would shatter (concerning 40 point games) would be his own Laker team record, because nobody is ever going to break the record for most 40-point games in a season with any team. What's the record? Wilt Chamberlain with 67 40-point games in a single season (the season he averaged 50 points a night). The second best is Jordan with 37.
Re: And with tonight's 40 point game He is a lock for the Hall. I'm not saying this did it for him, but this record keeps him heading towards the best player of all time title.
Re: And with tonight's 40 point game You're right, he is moving in the right direction to be called/considered the GOAT, but I believe in order for him to achieve that goal he'll have to win two or three more rings in his career.
