This kind of summarized it for me

The whole point of the article was to talk about Lee with the Blazers, and he comes across with that convincing argument. Multiple things in there showed he hadn't really watched the Blazers much either.

The title of the article really should be How good will LaMarcus and Oden be since that will determine how good Portland is.

I thought we only won 54 games, not 58.

No it was 58. Some of us have chosen to reverse the following games below that the league recorded as losses.

    1) 12/12/08 vs The Clippers (Blake misses 4/5 FT in the final 51 seconds/Choke Game)
    2) 12/9/08 vs The Majic (Hedo Miracle Bank shot at the buzzer)
    3) 1/17/09 vs The Bobcats (Blazers go 16-31 from the FT line and lose by 5 in OT, including B-Roy 3-10)
    4) 12/25/09 vs The Mavs (Mavs close the game 12-2 to win by 8, after Howard was ejected late in the 3rd)

    So yeah, it was 58-24.

Aren't you forgetting the first time the Thunder and the Blazers played?

If it's any consolation I'm still trying to make myself forget too.

No, I actually considered that one! But weren't they up by 25 points in 2nd quarter? That game wasn't close enough to qualify as "robbery" (although it was a really BAD loss)
