Phil is wrong, Mike D'Toni won't be fired, Gregg Popovich hasn't been fired... but lol, Hubie Brown did step down... ah well Phil did step down from the job two years later after 96. anyways Phil has done his best coaching job with the Lakers out of his 5 years with them, but he doesn't deserve the award over Avery Johnson or Flip Saunders.

Avery should definitely win it. The Mavs were predicted to be 7th Seed coming into the season, and 3rd in the division.
