Bibby isn't much better than Blake, and he's going to start declining soon.

Yep. Blake should keep having career years as well. No way that was a fluke. Next year with Bibby declining and Blake having another career year they should almost be even. Then hopefully KP sees this and extends Blake for 6 years at the max because he will continue to have career years. This could have been the plan all along?

Seriously man, you might want to stop following the team for awhile. It's like you can't even rationally read anything about the team anymore. Not wasting cap space to acquire that piece of shit Bibby is not the same as standing pat with Blake. Taking what I said like that is absurd.

I do think Portland should make a move that makes sense. No one on this board wants Portland to upgrade the Point Guard position then me.

But Bibby is not the answer. Why make a move that will make the team worse in the future? Are you so desperate that the team make a move you would willing to ruin what they current have to do so?

Yeah, because Bibby's 2 extra points and .2 extra steals are going to be the difference maker.

Get real, Bibby would fall under the category of making a move for the sake of making a move.

So you are just going to disregard defensive win shares, offensive win shares and overall win shares? he also get's to the line more than Blake. He is an upgrade none the less. I was responding to Alex saying Blake was many, many times better than Bibby, which is totally false.

Not a significant enough upgrade if we got Bibby. No thanks.

I think it would have been if we could have turned Blake and Outlaw into a SF or Big though.

For example, Bibby and Lee is better than Blake, Outlaw and a pick or cash.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I think Bibby is better than Blake, but not by enough to make it worthwhile. I'd rather go after an upgrade that would actually make a big difference...even if Portland strikes out on that, the difference between Blake and Bibby is too small for me to really "regret" not having picked up.
