I'm starting to get anxious about the Odom deal. I hope it's done tomorrow. Starting to piss me off.

Right after we won it all, Shape posted a rumor saying the Lakers wanted Boozer.

Boozer is on the block right now.

I doubt the possibility is likely, but imagine a Boozer for Odom type of deal.

Meh, I rather keep LO to be honest. Boozer is sort of a prima donna. I doubt he'd be happy coming off the bench.

Sounds complicated to pull off, and we'd have a problem with people whining about minutes.

I don't think it is complicated to pull off at all.

I prefer Odom over Boozer, I think. I don't know...Odom is a better fit, though.

I believe Boozer is a better player, Odom a better fit.

I have a question, when is Luke Walton and Sasha Vujashit's contracts running out?

And where can I find all of this out?

In the top right of this webpage, you'll find a drop down menu that says "Sportstwo" (next to "Log Out"). You can get our salaries there.

Luke's contract has four more years, Sasha has two left. Next year Sasha has an expiring deal at least. :]

In two years, most of our contract mistakes will be wiped off the slate, and Mitch can start from scratch again. He needs to be smarter evaluating contract year players, and stop overpaying for role players. Luke is overpaid but if he can play the way he did in the postseason, I really won't complain too much. Pretty much every team has an overpaid player on their roster. Luke can be ours.

Yeah, Jermaine's agent is 1st in the agent rankings for largest combined salaries from his clients.

I still hope that Sasha can start being worth his contract and become the sharpshooter he was in the '08 season.

Stackhouse was just bought out by Memphis.

Anyone interested in him backing up Kobe?

I'd rather give some of the minutes to Brown. Maybe if it was 3 years ago, but Stack is really washed up. He couldn't even get any minutes on a Dallas Mavericks team with Wright and Gerald Green (FEAR) at SG.

Even at the minimum would he still be around about a year from now when we need him in the playoffs? It should be more of a last resort. We need to give Shannon extra burn, Phil has to learn to use him more in the rotation.

Stack is just gonna get bounced around now, or maybe even just slip away and retire in free agency.

I think we should wait until the deadline and see who else gets bought out. Other things could open up. As long as we sign Lamar we shouldn't be in too much of a hurry to get anything else unless it is a can't miss opportunity.

I thought Shape said a deal would get done this week. Man, I hate waiting.

We should really do the sign and trade route with Lamar, at least try it. I think he's gonna be back no matter what, since nobody will offer him the money he's looking for, and BOS, SAS, ORL, and CLE all used their MLE. But if we can improve the roster, do it. If I'm Mitch I call up Miami and see if they'd be interested in Lamar Odom for Mario Chalmers + Udonis Haslem swap. That way we'd finally shore up our PG position and get a good backup PF to boot. LO loves Miami since it's basically the beach and he can party it up every day, so he wouldn't reject. Riley and Wade both adore LO as well. It could be possible. If I'm Mitch I at least try this if nothing gets resolved soon. I hate waiting.

PG: Fisher, Chalmers (future starter), Brown
    SG: Kobe, Sasha
    SF: Ron, Luke, AMMO
    PF: Pau, Haslem, JP
    C: Drew, DJ

I love that. Shannon can take Sasha's minutes at SG, and spot minutes at PG.

I wouldn't mind a sign and trade, LO seems like he's really dragging this out. He's played in Miami before so I'm sure he wouldn't be too upset.

I think he comes back a bit unhappy but then the winning distracts him enough though.

Riley is really feeling the pressure to make some extra moves.

My trade offer is sort of pipe though. I doubt Miami accepts, but who knows. I just know that Riley and Wade love LO. Wade also came out and said that he'd stay in Miami, only if they build a contender. So maybe that puts pressure on Riley to make a move, and appease him?

They're desperate to make moves down here, they're even resorting to courting AI. I know he might want to play in Memphis but he's going to play with OJ Mayo, he'll have to defer either way.

They have Beasley who is a tweener though, do they need LO? They would definitely need to get rid of Haslem of course he's a 7.1 million expiring so the salaries should work out.

Good point, forgot about Beasley. That'll make things more tricky since they don't really need him. Fuck.
