They are currently sitting at about 62.5 Million. Assuming Sessions's contracts starts at the MLE (Which it probably will), they are looking at about 68.2 Million for this season.
I know, I was not attacking you. I just made the statement is all. Some people were thinking before the draft that we might need to.
7.717 million to be exact I think? We have right at about 50 million in salaries. The cap is 57.7 million. Math took it from there. David Lee lovers. 5 years 44.75 is the number we can give him I think. If we renounce the Euro scrubs it's 5 year 54.3 for a S&T After the season starts, and up until the deadline we will have 10.378 I think for a lopsided trade. If nothing get's done we lose it for all intents and purposes
The nice thing is that NY will have to go deeper into the lux tax to sign Lee. I say we jack that contract up
Theyll be at $63m if they cut Bowen and before they sign Sessions. They'll be right at the tax line if they sign him and make no other changes. I don't think we can get him.
Thanks. ah... storyteller had used Channing's $4 mil on the totals, so i forgot to subtract that. So, my lux tax teams list is wrong.
try this one.. its for the new fiscal season http://www.storytellerscontracts.info/resources/09-10salaries.htm I am sure he is busily updating his site now anyways. Expect some updates soon.
Up until next July 1, Portland will have the space. So, in terms of major trade milestones, they have the trade deadline and next year's draft within that time frame.
Looks like next seasons cap, starting in 2010 could go down by $7 million! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4312837
