    Yeah, I figured the 5 year one was legit. He can opt out after 3, I think.

    Yeah, I hated Artest against the Lakers. I hate him as a 1st option.

    But on the Lakers, in our offense, I fucking love him.

    He mentions he wants to talk with Bynum. On his twitter page during the Finals he kept saying how Andrew was getting screwed by the refs, maybe he wants to give him some pointers on D.

    I love having Artest in LA now! I used to hate his ass everytime they battled against LA, but now I love hiM!

    I found this quote from this detailed article comparing Artest vs. Ariza

    It's a valid point about Ariza's game we talked about here and some nice stats to justify our criticism of his decision to play for Houston.

    I didn't agree with this part of the article. Ariza did spend time defending top scorers, but Kobe has been our defensive stopper all season long. Ariza didn't even get into the starting rotation or close out games until late in the year.

    I also don't agree with his views on Ron Artest in LA. Ron Artest is going to be a loose cannon at times and piss fans off for bad shot selection and what not, but he also brings it every night and when the game is on the line we still have the best closer in the game.

    Just read the article. Some points were good, and some points were bs.

    I agree with him on the fact that Ariza really isn't a shot creator, so he will have a very tough time in Houston with Yao and T-Mac out. And, I disagree with him saying that Kobe was not our stopper. At the beginning of games, Ariza covered the good perimeter guys, and if it proved too much for him, then Kobe was the one who guarded him. Just like Carmelo during the playoffs.
