D-Will or Marvin Williams

They both play different positions but who would you rather have on your team? They are both Young. One can score and rebound. The other can score, pass and defend.

 

Bad comparison. One will never be more than a role player, one has a shot at stardom. No comparison.

 

I needed to think up a topic...Who has the shot at stardom?

 

Athletic SF's are a dime-a-dozen, a potentially very good PG is much harder to find.

 

Marvin has stardom written on him before Williams!.

 

He's a 6'8" athletic wing who can score...Deron could be a VERY good PG...Which would you rather have?

 

I would chose Marvin. He is very athletic, he can shoot and he can also run the fast break, using his athleticism. he could fit great with the Suns. I see him as a Rashard Lewis type player. Deron on the other hand, can become a solid pg because he has good court vision but Marvin definately has superstar potential. I will go with him.

 

Anyone can fit in good with the Suns....Good SF's are everywhere, good PG's are not.

 

Athletic forwards fit in especially well with the Suns running style. A good pg is actually pretty common now..

 

Athletic everything works out with the Suns...Filling a hole at SF is the easiest position in the league.

 

Marvin williams.. is like 2-3 years younger is just a better all around player i woudl take him anyday of Deron... Deron isnt as good as Paul or Felton..

 

I liked Deron for Illinois but he doesn't look to me as a star in the league Marvin could be. He's a good pg but nothing special imo. As for Marvin, guy needs some bulk, but could develop into a all star player that a team builds around.Right now Deron though, he's more ready to contribute, Marvin down the line.

I pick Deron because he has great court vision abilites, he can score, pass and is clutch sometimes.

 

Don't lie Soung. You picked Deron bc he has the same name as you Marvin has way more potential then Deron. It just depends how far Marvin wants to work and how well he develops. I see him as an 18-8 guy in the future.
