If trading Przybilla and Rudy (and Outlaw for that matter) could return a big-time starter (like, say, Devin Harris), I'd trade Rudy in an eye-blink.

That's a solid, and cheap, package that I bet you could get nice value for. I'd start shopping that for Caron Butler or Harris.

the dude in my avatar comes pretty close. PER of 17.65 compared to Millsap's 18.71, and Sessions is a year younger too. If this frontloading bonus thing could screw over Utah, it'd work just as well with the Bucks.

If the deal does go down, we should definitely call it a "Dirty Memphis". I like the sound of that. As for the actual workings of it, I would love to see us totally screw Utah while landing a very solid addition to the squad.

It would definitely make for some more interesting discussion surrounding our small forward position and what will happen to Travis Outlaw.

As for the talk about giving up on Przybilla, I think it would be a bad idea. HeÅ› great insurance if things dont work out and he is a guy that wont complain about playing time.

Yeah, I do like Sessions more than Millsap for this team. But Utah is in a tougher financial situation. Milwaukee just cleared a lot of space by dealing Jefferson and letting Villanueva walk. They can sign Sessions and stay under the luxury tax, I think. Whereas, if Utah matched a Millsap offer, they may have to pay double on every dollar of it.

I think he is trying to tell you that since he was purchased for more than $25 - he came with free shipping.

    there's a great article here

    quoting the most relevant parts:
The Bucks could either cut Kurt Thomas ("As a 14-year vet, Thomas would get a minimum of $1.3 million if he was signed by another team, which would put the Bucks on the hook for at most $2.5 million of his $3.8 million deal if they tried to buy him out.") or try and trade him for a trade exception.

So fair enough, Milwaukee is in a better financial situation than Utah. Still, Portland could put them in a sticky situation by offering Sessions a huge contract like the $50m being talked about for Millsap, which at the least would limit their other options.

    Blake/Bayless/Mills
    Roy/Rudy
    G.Wallace/Batum/Webs
    LMA/Millsap/Pendergraph
    Oden/Pryz

The PG comes at the trade deadline (if Bayless is not improving...or Mills not surprising us all!).

Roy can slide over to PG. Go for Wallace - stop it with Deng and Hinrich! Yuk

Well since the post that you quoted from me was about a Joel for Battier swap I'm not sure what that has to do with Deng and Hinrich :dunno:

I mean Joel, LMA, Outlaw, and Bayless for Tyson and CP3 :)

    Imagine that lineup

    PG- CP3, Blake
    SG- Roy, Rudy
    SF- Batum, Webster
    PF- Millsap, Pendergraph
    C- Oden, Chandler

ok ok I know it wont happen.. but I can always override Trade on Nba 2K9

We're basically upgrading from Frye to Millsap. That's a great. I just don't see why he'd want to come here. With OKC, he would start and possibly become a star. OKC would get substantially better with him too, I think. If we get Millsap, Outlaw will be traded for a PG.

dude is 6'6.25 barefoot with a standing reach just under Martell's. Maybe he knows where he matches up best (off the bench) + wants to get paid, and yet wants to win?

What was Charles Barkley's height w/out shoes? He certainly isn't someone I want playing large minutes at center, but I've seen him play enough minutes at PF to know he can more than hold his own.
