Re: Varajao Gets 6 Years 50 Million Well he got less than I was expecting; I was expecting a $10-12m a year deal. He's a glue guy that LeBron likes with a dick of an agent (remember he held out until mid-December/January last time) which bumps his value a lot. He's also a fan favourite so his value goes up yet more. Technically he's overpaid (and I'm not sure what an extra $7-8m on the payroll does for cap space next offseason) but for what he means to the team it's probably worth it. All along, though, I was thinking a 5 year, $50m deal or 6-year, $60m+ deal, as that was the general feeling with Brian Windhorst (best Cavs beat guy, featured on ESPN quite a lot I think) and the rest of the journalists. So in that respect Ferry did ok.
