Greetings from back water Oh-ry-gun. We have heard a rumor of a 3-way trade involving your loving Bulls (Rose is a beast if I may flatter). We had heard it out of Utah.

I do not know how you would feel about this, and I do not mean to offend. But what are your thoughts on this? Is this ridiculous?

Ford and Stein have it on ESPN now. I like it. It's really a reset. Free look at boozer and tons of space for next year.

Andrew suggested Utah might get Salmons too, which sounds good to me since it'll free up cap space in 2010. If we're blowing this shiz up, we might as well really clear the decks.

I like pretty much any variant of this trade, but if we could send out both Kirk and Salmons, and perhaps get back Rudy Fernandez and Boozer, I'll send Gar Paxdorf a box of chocolates.

If Salmons and Hinrich go, our guard rotation would be Rose/Pargo/Aaron Gray.

Meanwhile, we've got Sam Smith to throw cold water on things.
I haven't had this big of a buzz kill since my granddad walked in on me and my girlfriend fooling around at age 17.

Let me correct this for you:

If Salmons and Hinrich go, our guard rotation would be Rose/Pargo/Pargo.

Pargo should, nay, must, be counted twice.

I think we would be happy to send Outlaw, despite what that guy said. Some Blazer fans don't think Martell Webster will be able to play again, but I believe he'll be fine. And our secret gem is Nicolas Batum. Both SF, so we are actually overloaded there.

It might sell more tickets to play Aaron Gray at SG some.

Or maybe Linton Johnson III could make his 3rd term with the Bulls and make us all forget Ben Gordon was here.

we'll need to keep salmons, but other than that, I like the trade because it gives us that big man we need, but then our guard rotation is shit...how do we go from having too many guards to possibly having too few?

We've let two walk for nothing now. Duhon and Gordon. Doesn't help things, does it?

Good point, but Duhon isnt all that anyway. I mean, I could flourish playing with D'Antoni (not saying that I'm bad, I'm just not that good either lol)

He was good enough for us to play 3 guards a lot, and he beat out Gordon for the first few seasons for the starting job.

True, mainly cuz he's a better overall player than ben (but no where near a better shooter)

And it was some of the most boring basketball the Bulls have ever played.

Hey, its not always about being flashy, sometimes it takes the boring things to win ball games.

Wow, now we are pining for Duhon? I like the trade for the bulls. It creates enough space I think to sign both Bosh and Wade and those guys would be crazy to choose South Beach and that mediocre talent over a pass first point guard like Rose and third/fourth banana like Deng. Ok, not crazy, but just not basketball savvy.

I don't think it is a great deal for Portland if it includes Fernandez and Outlaw. I'm not entirely sure they want Hinrich to be their third best starting offensive player. But either of those guys with Hinrich as their point guard makes them at least the sleeper pick for the championship and a contender for a long time.
