If they could pick up a D guy that was intelligent, hustled and rebounded well they would be much much better.....I think this is more important than finding another dependable scorer....

They need a Point Guard. Because Kobe isn't much of one. They need a center because Bynum isn't that great. They need more than a defensive guy. They need a team that can play together also. Not just have one and only one goto guy.

And Kobe isn't a PG anyways...?!Yes another big body would be nice, but why say Bynum isn't any good. He's 18 and has shown signs of great things. Wow what you expect 20-10 his rookie year?! Plus we are missing Chris Mihm right now due to injury. We just need to be smarter, especially on D. We let opposing PG's destroy us. They just slide in on our defense, we don't move our feet at all. It's pretty sad if you ask me.

I hope Smush Parker stays next year... but as a backup point guard. We need a pure point guard. or maybe not a pure point guard but someone who can spread the ball across the court well. and I say make Bynum the backup center next year. See how he does, I mean I want to see 8-5 from him next year if he's a backup and he should improve solidly every year untill perhaps he's 21 or 22 and he can start for the Lakers and be a star. If that happens, because this guy is really promising, I have high hopes for Andrew Bynum as Lakers fan, I know he can get 22/12 and 2 blocks a night in around 4 years. Because he seems really impressive, and with Kareem and Phil his teachers after this year for the next 2 years I think he has good position to become a superstar. Then they would need more quality players. Maybe trade Luke Walton and get Kareem Rush back. And get more defenders for the bench because if the starters are getting tired and you take them out, youre gonna want to have good defenders coming in for your starters so the other team cant make a run. And lastly, Phil Jackson, Brian Shaw, Frank Hamblem, and Kareem need to take whips and beat the <Censored> out of Kwame Brown, and Lamar Odom untill they play better

All this team needs is time.

that's where i disagree... they have the main pieces, thats where they need the time, but they need a new PG, smush should be the back-up, and get other quality defenders on the bench.
