Tonight was one of those nights that I agree that kobe should be taking a lot of shots. the rest of the team was off and he was shooting a nice percentage. But this is also the main problem i have with kobe (i dont consider myself a hater, because i respect him and understand he is one of the top players, and possibly the best player, in the NBA). My problem with kobe is every game is the same, he shoots a ton, and a lot of times, he shoots well and he is the sole reason why the lakers win, but a lot of the time as well, he shoots poorly and is the sole reason the lakers lose. My brother is a HUGE lakers fan so i talk to him a lot about his thoughts on kobe (I went to the laker game in denver with my bro last night as well). He somewhat agrees with me (not saying we are right, this is just what i think).Kobe doesnt adjust to the offense each game. Every game he plays relatively the same each game. Hence why he averages so many shots per game. Many games, like i said, it works out and he carries them to a win, but the games he is off, he doesnt adjust and get the other players more involved to give them a chance to get warmed up, he still shoots a lot, hence his amssive amounts of games shooting under 45% this season.Im starting to think that in the long run, at least for this season, that is in fact hurting the team. yes, he has the lakers in the playoffs when they possibly shouldnt be, but they still will probably not go anywhere in the playoffs, and his teammates probably have not advanced their games as much as they should have this season (but i agree in some ways that some of them have advanced). Now like i said, kobe is possibly the top player in the NBA, but in my opinion he still needs to learn how to adjust how he is playing each game based on how he and his teammates are playing, because this seaosn, he hasnt done that. And I am a Lebron/Cavs fan if anyone was wondering, and this is just my opinion, so it doesnt mean what i am saying is fact, just what i think.
I agree with you but one thing i would like to say, his teamates are absolutely inconsistent, it's beyond a jokem starting to think that in the long run, at least for this season, that is in fact hurting the team. yes, he has the lakers in the playoffs when they possibly shouldnt be, but they still will probably not go anywhere in the playoffs, and his teammates probably have not advanced their games as much as they should have this season (but i agree in some ways that some of them have advanced).None of these bums will be here, they'll all be gone. Odom should stay though.
I honestly don't think the lakers have any Bums on there team but thats just me. The only problem with this team is we don't have a actual center we can call our starter like we had with Shaq and also we don't have a point guard that can open the floor up for the offense. IMO if the Lakers had a guy like Steve Nash or Jason Kidd right now with the same team they have right now we would have way more wins then we have right now because of what they can do to make people around them better. A point guard like that would make not just Kobe but the whole team better and in result they would be a much better team.
I honestly don't think the lakers have any Bums on there team but thats just me Sasha is the only one who hasn't shown anything, he's probably the worst player in the league. And i was talking about yesterday, all of them were playing like bums.
Are you kidding me Sasha a Bum? imo Sasha has the potential to be a great player in the future. He reminds me alot of Peja. At first Peja was't that good but now he's one of the best shooters in the league. Give the guy time after all he's only been in the league for a year.

Sasha is a <Censored> sophomore in the NBA give him a break he played european basketball so it takes a while for the refs to give him some calls and hes still learning how to play the game the NBA way and plus he's an amazing shooter. Luke is a great passer and he is a quality player unlike the rest of the bench.

Luke was having a horrid season, now suprisingly he's turned it on.
He doesn't miss open threes most of the time.. if he misses one when you just happen to watch a game then fine, everyone misses shots, if you expect him to make every shot then thats really arragont and pathetic
The ONLY current Laker that should be mentioned in the same sentence as the word <u>great</u> is Kobe Bryant. Luke isn't a great passer. Sasha isn't going to be a great player. If anything can be said about the others, it's that Kwame Brown is a great defender in the post...and that's about all she wrote when it comes to Kobe's teammates being "great."

Bynum won't be a bad piece. If only Jackson gives the kid some more <Censored> playing time especially since Chris Mihm is out right now. But no, he just sits him. Bynum is now 7'1 ad gained 15 punds of muscle so he is now 280 punds. Maybe in the off-season he grows a bit more maybe 7'2 or 7'3 and gains some more muscle so he weighs about 300 pounds. he can dominate over people in a few years if he has the chance and keeps working hard and improving.
