    LMAO

Andre Miller fits a Mike D'Antoni system like a square peg in a round hole. Can't run, can't shoot.

Miller thrived in Philly's fast paced style for the past couple years.

Yeah, I'm sure D'Antoni is drooling all over Miller's career sub-30% three-point percentage.

No, but he's drooling over the fact that he can run and not turn the ball over while doing it.

Hmm... if there is ONE thing that the Knicks do not need it's another PG.

I mean, really... Andre Miller? He's a fine player, but he's 33 and he's not going to be a big enough improvement for that team to sniff the playoffs, let alone challenge for a championship.

The Knicks have a LOT of holes on that team, but I think PG should be well down their list of things to fix.

I heard that he's getting offered one-year offers. If so, there's no harm for the Knicks: the Jazz has their TOTALLY UNPROTECTED pick for next year, so they really want to be as good as possible, while still saving room for the shot at James.

Can't run? I'm pretty sure Andre Miller is an uptempo PG.

A one year deal is different than a three year deal, which is what I thought they were talking.

NY might as well sign guys to one year deals because, as you say, mediocrity isn't as bad as it normally is in a rebuilding process when you don't have your own pick. :)

I must be getting old. I remember when the job description of a PG involved setting up your team-mates....not standing around like a wooden indian, 40 feet away from the basket.

I never knew wooden Indians were such great 3 point shooters. I wonder why there are none of them in the NBA. Is that the whole "don't eat cow" thing?

In the context of D'Antoni - his system requires a point guard that is good in a fast system and is creative with the ball and is a good scorer and shooter. Miller is 2 out of 3. Given that they had Duhon and Nate-Rob last year - he will be an upgrade.
