If we use up our cap space, and OKC isn't spending, does that mean all the Lakers have to do is offer Odom a little more than the Mid-level? That sucks. I'm wondering if, assuming our plans with Millsap fall through (as most things seem to be doing this offseason) is there any way we can use our cap space to get Odom to a different team? Perhaps there's some other team that's right at the cap, and if they trade us some assets for our cap space, they can sign Odom? I could imagine the Knicks being interested, but they're not close to the cap. Any ideas?

Odom has pretty much killed his value by not actively trying to get a contract. His agent has done very little to market him. He is giving off the impression that he only wants to be a Laker. Good for him. But because of this, the Lakers can and will low ball him.

Lamar should stop eating 4 pounds of candy a day, it might help him concentrate on the fact that he should be taking care of his business, then again if doesn't mind the pay cut to stay in Lala land, I guess more power to him.
