So Can we get a great point guard out of the boozer moving? Maybe package up Blakey (sorry dawg) and TrOut if needed? Or if it is a SUPER star, and young enough, Rex?

    This is a new option.

Which PG were you thinking of trying to obtain?

I didn't have one in mind that I think we can get, really I didn't want to do the research who has a good PG and wants to pick up a PF. I'm just asking if there was any ideas of where we could exploit this Boozer situation.

not a good enough one.. why would a team get rid of a top flight PG to rent Boozer for a year?

Maybe for Boozer + Bayless + picks and cash plus salary relief New Jersey would part with Harris? Boozer might very well resign if he knows LBJ will be suiting up with him.

Interesting... I could be happy with that happening. Low Risk High Reward for them. Good Work Idog.

Didn't Boozer already ditch LBJ once? I'm not sure that saying "hey, we've got Carlos! Come to NJ, LBJ!" is a net positive/

Forgot about that...just when I thought I couldn't respect Boozer less. Well there are other teams with LBJ/Wade/Bosh fantasies that might be interested in a rental/expiring like Boozer. Someone else think of them!

Maybe Boozer + Batum + Outlaw + Picks and Cash for Caron Butler and Jamison?

There must be SOMETHING out there get to thinking trade junkies!

WAS is out of the question, IMO. they are going for it this year, and I don't see them thinking a rental of Boozer is that much of an upgrade over Jamison. Certainly not worth blowing the team up over.

As previously stated, Larry Brown would kill him before he became UFA. So Wallace and Felton are out.

Maybe D.Lee in an S&T to OKC with Boozer to the NYK?

Boozer/Outlaw to ATL, Josh Smith/Marvin (S&T) to us, Webster/Blake to Utah? Or remove Outlaw/Marvin/Blake.

Boozer/Bayless/Outlaw to MIL, Redd/Sessions (S&T) to us, Webster/Blake to UTH.

Boozer/Bayless/Randolph to PHX, Amare to GSW, Ellis to us, Blake to UTH.

There's more, but most of those (and the unnamed ones) are pipe dreams

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I like those two, especially the second since it provides the point guard we need. Of course, if Portland did the first deal, they're suddenly very overloaded with small forwards (assuming Josh Smith starts at small forward for Portland, which makes the most sense to me).

I notice you put Redd in alot of trade ideas. Is Milwaukee shopping him? If not why would we want him?

Sessions obviously = instant woody. Can't we get Kurt Thomas in the deal instead?

Atlanta trade is interesting. Leaves us (von) wafer thin at PG though.

I usually put Redd in since he's the worst long-term contract MIL has. :dunno: Much like WAS was saying they'd give up the #5 for some cap relief, I think MIL would S&T Sessions if they got a decent PG and some cap relief back.

Agree with ATL trade leaving us thin at PG. I think b/w Bayless/Rudy/Roy we have enough ballhandling at the 1/2.
