Logical Reason: Utah would be more worried about facing us with Aldridge than they would with Millsap. They hear that if we get Millsap, we will trade Aldridge, so Utah doesn't match the offer to Millsap. Ok, I don't believe it either.
The writer clearly gets messages from KP. They're transmitted telepathically from KP to the fillings in the writer's teeth.
*If* there was info leaked... I think it could be to illicit offers. For the most part I think agents or speculating writers are responsible for most rumors. In some cases it appears writers have picked up crazy speculation in forums like this and used them. A crazy idea gets looked at here by some local radio show host who maybe uses it as something to throw out on the air... which gets heard by someone else... and so on and so forth.
